The Honors College is a small college inside UNLV that attracts some of the most academically talented students from Nevada and throughout the nation. The Honors College brings to students the advantages of an outstanding small-college liberal arts education in the context of the vast academic and cultural resources of a rapidly growing national university. With an outstanding core curriculum, small classes, superlative faculty, a broad range of majors, special advising, personal attention, opportunities to do research with faculty, scholarships, leadership opportunities, and special residential arrangements, honors students enjoy the benefits of a private education at a small fraction of the cost.
