OVERWHELMING DEMAND FOR FREE "VEGAS ROCKS 100" CONCERT FEATURING RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS CREATES SECOND OPPORTUNITY FOR LOCAL LAS VEGANS TO OBTAIN TICKET

WHAT: Clear Channel Entertainment Properties, the marketer and producer of the "Vegas Rocks 100" concert featuring world-renowned, multi-platinum rock band the Red Hot Chili Peppers and top alternative-rock act Weezer, will release an additional 5,000 tickets in limited availability at participating local Ticketmaster locations.

The popularity of the bands coupled with the once-in-a-lifetime Las Vegas Centennial event resulted in the majority of tickets going in 15 minutes back in mid-April when Red Hot Chili Peppers band members Flea and Chad Smith appeared in Las Vegas to announce the concert.

Each customer will be limited to four tickets and each ticket center will follow Ticketmaster's policy of random number distribution, allowing people a fair chance at receiving free tickets.

Local media outlets, including KLAS CH 8, KVVU Fox 5, KXTE 107.5-FM, KOMP 92.3 and KMXB 94.1 FM will also be hosting on-air ticket giveaways. Tune into those stations for details on how to win another chance to secure tickets to this exciting event.

WHEN: Monday, May 16, Noon PST

WHERE: 21 Southern Nevada Ticketmaster locations including Ritmo Latino at 2320 E. Bonanza Rd.; Tower Records/WOW Superstore at 4580 W. Sahara Ave. and Smith's Food & Drugs at 6130 W. Tropicana, 3850 E. Flamingo Rd., 450 N. Nellis Blvd., 2540 S. Maryland Pkwy., 850 S. Rancho., 4440 N. Rancho, 2211 N. Rampart, 8555 W. Sahara Ave., 9851 W. Charleston, 5564 Camino Al Norte, 9750 S.
