ABOUT THE CENTENNIAL BABY PROMOTION
The Las Vegas Centennial partnered with several local retailers to issue a Centennial gift package to all Centennial babies -- any local baby born the same month as Las Vegas. Each package includes a Centennial teddy bear, a commemorative Centennial birth certificate signed by Mayor Goodman and a bottle bag and product samples from Burlington Coat Factory Baby Depot. Babies born May 15 received a certificate for a free class offered through the City of Las Vegas Department of Leisure Services as well as an additional bottle bag from Babies R Us. The Centennial babies and their parents will also be invited to participate in a group photo in September which will be placed in the Centennial time capsule.
