Robert Stoldal

Born and raised in San Francisco, California, Robert "Bob" Stoldal became interested in news and information at an early age. He credits his grandfather, Walter Anderson, who took him to see newsreels instead of cartoons at a downtown movie theater every Saturday morning. Robert has been a television news director for more than 30 years. In September of 2002, Robert assumed the responsibility of overseeing the operations of the KLAS news department as well as Las Vegas ONE. In October of 2002, he launched a 30-minute prime time newscast on the UPN affiliate KTUD.

Robert is married to Kay, and they have four sons: Tony, Adam, Matthew and Christian. Robert serves on the Las Vegas Centennial Committee and is the Historical Working Group Chairperson for the Centennial.
