Joseph R. Schillaci

Joe Schillaci is President and Chief Executive Officer of the Fremont Street Experience, LLC, a world famous, one-of-a-kind entertainment venue in the heart of Las Vegas' Downtown. The Fremont Street Experience is a public-private partnership formed in 1995 between the City of Las Vegas and a group of 10 casino/hotels that entertain 21 million visitors each year.

Schillaci has more than 35 years of senior management experience in the hospitality, travel and transportation industries. His key experience is in the theme park industry, where he spent 17 years, earning him recognition as an innovative leader and creative marketer.

Before coming to Las Vegas, Schillaci held several key executive positions at Six Flags Theme Parks, including seven years as President of Six Flags California. During his tenure, this Southern California entertainment complex had annual paid attendance of three and half million visitors and revenues of over $100 million.

Schillaci has been an active community leader serving on various boards of directors including the Los Angeles Visitor & Convention Bureau, the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce, the Las Vegas Centennial Celebration Committee and the Nevada Development Authority. He also serves on the Board of Directors for Park-Tours; a San Diego based high tech company that markets products and services to the hospitality industry. Joe Schillaci is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and attended graduate school at Johns Hopkins University. A Viet Nam era USAF veteran, he resides in Las Vegas with his wife, Jeanette.
